There's no right pace for this. We move at yours. Flag what matters and we'll set it aside; everything else gets sorted, donated where we can, and cleared with care. You take care of your family. We'll take care of the property.
Clearing a loved one's home is one of the heaviest jobs there is, and it almost never comes at a convenient time. There's grief, there's a timeline, and there's a whole house of a life's belongings to make decisions about. You shouldn't have to carry the physical part of that on top of everything else.
We move at your pace and treat every room with respect. You flag the keepsakes, photos and documents; we set them aside before anything is touched. The rest we sort by hand — donating what we can to Omaha-area nonprofits, recycling what we can, and handling sensitive items discreetly.
You can be as involved as you want, and you don't need to have it figured out before you call. If being there is too much, that's okay — plenty of families hand us a key and let us send photo updates as we work. However you want to do this, we'll meet you there.
